Karachi, the biggest metropolitan, with the highest population. It has one of the busiest seaports. It’s the premier Industrial and Financial hub. According to Wikipedia it contributes to 20% of total GDP. So ideally it should have been the governments’ first priority towards its urban development. But NO!! In our country where politicians are only here to fill their personal bank accounts. They have Zero concern for any structural development in one of the biggest cities of our country. In just a single monsoon spell the whole city has turned into venice. No Government official is there to claim the responsibility. No Provincial or Central Government is ready to take charge. WHY????
Just like a colorful potpourri this page has colorful and not so colorful rantings of a mother of three princesses. As a mother I have to don the cap of a teacher, friend, playmate, cook, maid, etc and etc. With so many role changes within a day, my mind is whirring constantly up and down like a roller coaster. At the end of the day pouring out my thoughts and ideas on this blog is a relaxing and unwinding activity.

It's Karhai Time!!
When it comes to food there are a lot of options in Riyadh. But when it’s about Desi Food, we have very less options that satiate our taste buds. We get a lot of options but they do not conform to our taste palate. But there are a few good old eating out places which never fail to provide us what we’re looking for. One such place is Shamesy where we head for Karhai and Chapli Kababs. Yum! It’s been years there taste and quality has been the same, and our love for it grows. It’s a go to place when we are not in the mood of cooking or in a mood of getaway on the weekend. The only drawback is they do not have a family section so we have to do Take Away and have it at home or a nearby park.
They have options of Chicken and Mutton Karhai. Chapali kebabs with or without egg and Namkeen Boti.
So let’s have a look on our modest picnic spread last weekend :)
